This is because on Monday (18) the Minister of Health, Marcelo Queiroga, announced that the use of the immunizing agent will be restricted to children and adolescents aged 5 to 18 years, withdrawing the vaccine from the National Immunization Program for adults.

In addition, studies show that the effectiveness of CoronaVac as a booster dose against new variants tends to be lower than that of other manufacturers.

Thus, its use in new vaccination campaigns has been ruled out by the federal government.

5 actions to facilitate the social inclusion of indigenous displaced people

Indigenous peoples occupy only 15% of the world's territory, but protect 80% of the remaining biodiversity on the planet, according to World Bank data. As with other populations, the actions of indigenous communities are those that least affect nature, but they are among the groups that suffer most strongly the consequences of climate change.

In indigenous populations, the effects of these changes are reflected in the vulnerability of their ecosystems, [...] and in the loss of territories, as Oxfam indicates [...]. In addition to climate change, and despite their organization and resistance, indigenous populations have also historically been displaced by the colonization of other cultures.
